Who We Are

The Food Export Council (FEC) was established in 1997 by Ministerial Decree as a non-profit organization operating under the umbrella of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Serving as the Ministry’s official think tank and advisory body, FEC plays a pivotal role in shaping strategies, advocating for policies, and lobbying on behalf of the Egyptian food export sector.

Our mission is to promote, support, and grow Egypt’s food processing exports in global markets - increasing both their quality and quantity. We provide a wide range of strategic services aimed at strengthening existing markets and unlocking new ones. These include:
