Guiding & Supporting Egyptian Food Exporters

The Export Readiness Test

The Export Readiness Test (ERT) is an interactive self-assessment tool designed to help Egyptian food companies evaluate their readiness to enter international markets. It measures key aspects such as business strength, competitiveness, marketing capabilities, financial and human resources. By completing the test, companies receive a detailed report with personalized recommendations and an action plan to enhance their export performance.

Disputes Resolving

The Food Export Council (FEC) actively supports both Egyptian exporters and foreign importers in resolving trade-related disputes that may arise during export transactions.

Companies may contact the Council through the official email ([email protected]), providing copies of all relevant correspondence, contracts, invoices, financial transfers, and a short brief outlining the issue and requested action.

Each case is carefully reviewed by the Council, which may request any additional documentation if needed. The FEC then communicates formally with the other party through official letters and phone coordination to understand the situation and seek amicable, balanced solutions that preserve the reputation and credibility of Egyptian exports.

In cases involving non-member companies, delayed responses, or lack of cooperation, the matter is referred to the Export Violations Committee at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade for investigation and official opinion.
